I will make my first short blog short and sweet! My name is Kristen Damman and I currently teach Algebra 1. I was born and raised in Fremont, Ohio but my husband, Ryan, [boyfriend at the time] and I moved to Nebraska after graduating college. He was offered an absolute dream job that was too good to be passed up. This summer will hit the seven year mark. During this time, we got married, bought a home and have been blessed with two daughters, Everly Lynn and Melanie Katherine.
I have always dreamed of becoming a math teacher but lately I realized I can do much more. I have discovered my true passion is the math curriculum side and coming up with creative ways to present and teach the content. I would consider myself a life long learner and I LOVE discovering ways to make myself better. I took the first leap of faith at the end of last October and decided to start a teacher Instagram account.

Once I started sharing ideas and activities that I utilize in my classroom, teachers began asking if I sold my products on Teacher's Pay Teachers. This is when I felt my dream really take a detour. I stumbled upon a way to create revenue doing something that I absolutely enjoy. This is when Damman's Algebra Room TpT was created.
Finally, creating a blog has been on my mind and figure it is time to stop putting it off. This platform will give me a way to describe in detail what goes on inside of Damman's Algebra room. I plan on sharing ideas and answering any questions follow educators may have!
